Does "love level all ranks" even in the Royal Navy? Captain Corcoran's daughter is due to be betrothed to the upper-class Cabinet Minister in charge of the entire Navy, but she falls in love with a lowly sailor under her father's command. Gilbert and Sullivan's first smash hit satirizes the British class system, with a surprise twist ending.

H.M.S. Pinafore will mark Lyric Theatre's 100th production! In celebration, the Thursday night performance will be a Sing-Along.
