CAST AND CREW INFORMATION
Pick up those power tools and help turn beautiful murals (created by our partner Stories for Solidarity) into theatre flats that can stand safely outdoors.
HEALTH AND SAFETY ENFORCEMENT
Keep the cast, crew, and audience safe by helping to set up the space for social distancing, putting up signage as needed, and reminding people to wear masks.

Looking for an excuse to use your DSLR or fancy smartphone camera? We'd love for you to join us at an outdoor rehearsal, set construction day, and/or the concert itself to snap some candid pics of the process.
MUSIC SELECTION AND ARRANGEMENTS
Instead of a full light opera with an orchestra, chorus, and group numbers in close quarters this program will mainly feature solo art songs and arias performed with piano accompaniment. This way we can keep the numbers low and reduce everyone's exposure to people outside their households. Duets and group pieces may be featured in the program with performer consent.
ONLINE & OUTDOOR REHEARSALS
While some rehearsals will be held online, we will also hold outdoor rehearsals at Lyric Theatre's warehouse. No in-person meetings will be held indoors.
TESTING REQUIRED FOR SINGERS
Because singing is a "superspreader" activity, we will require singers to provide proof of negative Covid-19 test results prior to all in-person rehearsals and the recording session/performance even if they have been vaccinated. We can share resources for free diagnostic testing.
Performers and crew who are not singing will be required to wear masks in keeping with state and local mandates. Singers will be required to wear masks when not singing whenever possible.
Even outdoors, singers performing duets and group pieces will be at least 6' apart. Our current setup includes a fence to separate Garden of Treasures cast and crew from the public. We are currently awaiting approval to invite audience members to our live taping on June 27. If we are able to have a live audience, their seating and/or standing area will be at least 10' away from the edge of the stage area.
