The Great Gilbert and Sullivan Sing-Off

"The Great Gilbert & Sullivan Sing-Off” is a fundraiser for Lyric Theatre ~ your ticket purchase will help us continue to delight patrons for another 50 years with our signature diverse musical theatre heritage, with roots in Gilbert & Sullivan and other light opera.
Three fictional theater companies are competing in a Gilbert & Sullivan Festival, performing musical numbers drawn from throughout the Gilbert & Sullivan canon. One company is very traditional in their presentations, while another company is very non-traditional, indulging in things like gender-swapped characters, updated lyrics, and modern references. The third company is unlucky; somehow or other, everything they try to do goes wrong in some way: the lead forgets the lyrics, or the supertitles operator goes rogue, or the choreography turns into a train wreck.
Tension builds between the three companies throughout the show until the final winner is chosen through an audience vote.
