San José State University Intern Program

 

In early 2023, Lyric Theatre signed an agreement with San José State University to be a "Learning Site" for student interns from the Department of Film and Theatre and the School of Music and Dance. Each semester, Lyric Theatre lists the positions we have open for interns, and interested students may sign up to work with us on a production.  Our first intern served as Stage Manager for Orange Blossoms, our March 2023 show.  She spent a profitable time with our team and learned an aspect of theater that had been outside her previous experience. Our collaboration with SJSU has already been a very fruitful venture, and we look forward to providing many more opportunities for university students.
