For March: Lyric Theatre's sparkling 2010 production of

The Dollar Princess ~

A musical comedy in three acts, with music by Leo Fall, adapted into English by Basil Hood. The operetta opened in London in 1909 and had a successful run of 428 performances. A "Dollar Princess” was any wealthy American heiress who married into cash-strapped European aristocracy during the Gilded Age. Such young ladies exchanged immense fortunes for noble titles, allowing their families to gain social status while rescuing crumbling, titled estates (à la Downton Abbey!). Our operetta’s comic plot features the loves and intrigues of such a "dollar princess” and her hapless family.

For only $10 per month, you can watch the selected offering as many times as you like during the month, at home or anywhere your mobile device has connectivity. You will also have access to a wealth of written material about the shows.

The video offering changes on the first of each month, but it doesn't matter when you sign up (you are billed every month on the same date). Note that you can cancel at any time.
