Volunteer and Staff Opportunities

Board of Directors

Lyric Theatre is committed to expanding our network of Bay Area artists and patrons. At this time we are searching for additional members of our Board of Directors who can bring special skills and underrepresented perspectives to our group. This is a volunteer position. Social Media Manager

We are excited to provide digital engagement to long-time and brand new artists and audiences, whether in our local community or anywhere in the world! We're looking for a volunteer to commit 1-2 hours per week to make sure our social media accounts are up-to-date, and help our network stay on top of what's happening in the theatre and light opera world.

Production Repertoire

We are currently accepting show production proposals from authors, composers, producers, stage directors, and music directors interested in Lyric Theatre mounting specific shows. Please email for information about how to propose a show.

We are always interested in expanding our network of designers, producers, and stage managers! Email your resume and/or portfolio to for consideration.

We offer modest stipends for the following production leadership positions:

  • Stage Director

  • Music Director

  • Technical Director

  • Choreographer

  • Costume Designer

  • Scenic Designer

  • Properties Designer
