Highlights from five beloved Broadway shows by lyricist and librettist
Alan Jay Lerner and composer Frederick Loewe will raise the roof in a rousing presentation by our soloists, full chorus, and orchestra!
"Lerner and Loewe" refers the great partnership between lyricist and librettist Alan Jay Lerner and composer Frederick Loewe, which spanned three decades and nine musicals from 1942 to 1960 and again from 1970 to 1972. The pair are known for the creation of a string of critical stage and movie successes: My Fair Lady won six of 10 nominated Tony Awards. The movie version won eight Academy Awards, including best picture. Gigi won nine Academy Awards. Camelot received five Academy Award nominations and won three.
